Popular journalist reveals hidden facts about future of Man United star

Popular transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano has revealed what to expect on the future of Marcos Rojo at Man United.

From every indication, the Argentinian is no longer needed at Old Trafford as he has not been handed a role by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a long while. He is expected to leave the club, even with the opening of the January winter transfer window.

However, transfer journalist, Romano has given the hint that the Red Devils will not be graced with the opportunity of offloading the player in hurry because of the lack of real interest in his service from other clubs.

Meanwhile, his high wages remain an issue for the Red Devils and other suitors to come in terms with.

Marcos Rojo had returned on loan to his native country in the past and the hope was that deal would turn permanent but unfortunately for all parties it hasn’t.

Nevertheless, the Red Devils are opened to parting ways with the Argentine but that can only happen if they receive an official bid from his suitors.

Boca Juniors are reported to be interested in the signature of the Red Devils player but Fabrizio Romano stated that they have not made their interest official m

“Manchester United have not received any official bid from Boca Juniors for Marcos Rojo – he can leave the club if a serious offer will arrive. Moises Caicedo deal still at the same point: talks on with both club and agent, work permit issue, nothing signed or done.

This is not the best of news for a Man united’s fan as they are keen to see Marcos Rojo leave the club immediately.

The former Sporting Lisbon man could have left the club several years ago but no club had been able to match his weekly wage, not even Boca Juniors.

With the presence of Marcos Rojo at Man United, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still searching for a defender that will pair Harry Maguire as he has been linked with a number of names.

The Red Devils now have their sight on the Premier League title as Liverpool suffered a defeat against Southampton in their last Premier League game.

Danny Murphy

Experienced legend, Danny Murphy has listed the six clubs he thinks can win the Champions League this season.

His list include title holders Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. However, Manchester United was not mentioned.

For Liverpool, they reached successive Champions League finals in 2018 and 2019 and would be eager to challenge for another this seasonn.

Danny Murphy insists Manchester City are one of the favorites as with Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, PSG and Atletico Madrid.

Asked which teams he expects to challenge for the Champions League title, Murphy told MailSport:

“I personally think the winners will come from one of six – Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG.

“Atletico are an outsider because Diego Simeone has matchwinners in Luis Suarez and Griezmann in addition to the remarkable team spirit he’s fostered.”

Why Man Utd may not win trophy

Rio Ferdinand, has said the Manchester United inexperience could stop themfrom winning the Champions League this season.

Man United manager has brought in Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane this summer, as he seeks to win his first title at Old Trafford.

However, the team have not won any silverware since the Europa League final in 2017.

Their rivals, Liverpool and Chelsea have won both the Premier League and Champions League while Manchester City have won last season’s fina, their third league title in four years under experienced coach Pep Guardiola.

“I think Man United’s not a problem, but where they’re behind the other three English teams, is the experience of winning things.

“All the other three English teams have won things, whether it be the Champions League or the Premier League. Man United have yet to do that as this group.

“That’s where they are lacking, and that’s where they’ve got to play catch up and they’ve got to do that this season. The transfer window for them has been impeccable, but that’s got to translate into trophies,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.

What Solskjaer said about Man Utd 2-1 defeat to Young Boys

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has lambasted his side following a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys on yesterday.

Manchester United began their Champions League campaign with a shock loss to Young Boys.

The Red Devil took the lead when Cristiano Ronaldo scored his third goal since he returned to Old Trafford.

Later on, the game turned around after Aaron Wan-Bissaka received a straight red card for his challenge on Christopher Martins.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has lay blames on his team following a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys on Tuesday.

The Switzerland side eventually drew level, thanks to Moumi Ngameleu’s strike.

The match should have been a draw but Lingard tried to find David de Gea but his pass found Theoson Siebatcheu.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seriously warned his squad that they must learn from their mistakes if they are to avoid an early exit from the championship competition.

“A lack of concentration, you make a mistake and you get done. We did that last year, conceding two sloppy counter-attacks against Basaksehir and lost that game in the last seconds today.

“So we know we’ve given ourselves a more difficult task. We did last year when everyone thought we were through after two games.

“You need 10 or 12 points: win your home games and one away from home. We’ve lost the opportunity to get three points, but we’ve got two home games next and got to focus on those two,” Solskjaer said after the game.
