Man United could be set to lose this player to Tottenham, after advice

It is feared that Man United could lose France international Anthony Martial to Tottenham in this summer transfer window as the North London club have been advised to invest in his signature by football pundit Jamie O’Hara.

This is as Jamie O’Hara advised Tottenham to cash in on Harry Kane who is being wanted at Manchester City. With a move likely, the North London outfit have been asked to spend some of ten cash on Man United forward.

Anthony Martial is also not sure of a future at Old Trafford and a move is already being speculated, especially after Jadon Sancho arrived at the club from Borussia Dortmund which may limit his playing time.

And one man who thinks the Lilywhites should cash in on the England captain and spend the money on a replacement from Man Utd is former Spurs midfielder Jamie O’Hara.

“I actually think we’re alright without him,” O’Hara told talkSPORT.

“The situation is getting a bit boring now for me. He wants to go – he wants out.

“He looks like he wants to go. I just look at the situation and think we might be okay without him.

“The way we play and set up with that pace in the front three – why don’t we do something different?

“We’ve had Kane for a long period of time. He’s a club legend, we love him – but we haven’t won anything with him.

“Why don’t we change and do something different? Go a different direction – like a Martial.

“Don’t get me wrong he’s fantastic and he’d be perfect for Man City because he’s one of the best strikers in the world.

“But it might be time to change it and do something a bit different.”

Martial struggled for form at Old Trafford last season and scored just four goals in 22 Premier League appearances but scored 17 goals in 32 Premier League games the season before last.

The France international has been inconsistent during his six seasons with the Red Devils and was named on the bench for his side’s opening day victory over Leeds United on Saturday.

Legend ignores Man Utd, names six teams that can win champions league

Danny Murphy

Experienced legend, Danny Murphy has listed the six clubs he thinks can win the Champions League this season.

His list include title holders Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. However, Manchester United was not mentioned.

Danny Murphy predicts English clubs could be a dominant force in Europe this campaign, with Chelsea hoping to defend the title they won after beating Manchester City in last season’s champions league final.

For Liverpool, they reached successive Champions League finals in 2018 and 2019 and would be eager to challenge for another this seasonn.

Danny Murphy insists Manchester City are one of the favorites as with Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, PSG and Atletico Madrid.

Asked which teams he expects to challenge for the Champions League title, Murphy told MailSport:

“I personally think the winners will come from one of six – Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG.

“Atletico are an outsider because Diego Simeone has matchwinners in Luis Suarez and Griezmann in addition to the remarkable team spirit he’s fostered.”

Why Man Utd may not win trophy

Rio Ferdinand, has said the Manchester United inexperience could stop themfrom winning the Champions League this season.

Man United manager has brought in Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane this summer, as he seeks to win his first title at Old Trafford.

However, the team have not won any silverware since the Europa League final in 2017.

Their rivals, Liverpool and Chelsea have won both the Premier League and Champions League while Manchester City have won last season’s fina, their third league title in four years under experienced coach Pep Guardiola.

“I think Man United’s not a problem, but where they’re behind the other three English teams, is the experience of winning things.

“All the other three English teams have won things, whether it be the Champions League or the Premier League. Man United have yet to do that as this group.

“That’s where they are lacking, and that’s where they’ve got to play catch up and they’ve got to do that this season. The transfer window for them has been impeccable, but that’s got to translate into trophies,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.

What Solskjaer said about Man Utd 2-1 defeat to Young Boys

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has lambasted his side following a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys on yesterday.

Manchester United began their Champions League campaign with a shock loss to Young Boys.

The Red Devil took the lead when Cristiano Ronaldo scored his third goal since he returned to Old Trafford.

Later on, the game turned around after Aaron Wan-Bissaka received a straight red card for his challenge on Christopher Martins.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has lay blames on his team following a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys on Tuesday.

The Switzerland side eventually drew level, thanks to Moumi Ngameleu’s strike.

The match should have been a draw but Lingard tried to find David de Gea but his pass found Theoson Siebatcheu.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seriously warned his squad that they must learn from their mistakes if they are to avoid an early exit from the championship competition.

“A lack of concentration, you make a mistake and you get done. We did that last year, conceding two sloppy counter-attacks against Basaksehir and lost that game in the last seconds today.

“So we know we’ve given ourselves a more difficult task. We did last year when everyone thought we were through after two games.

“You need 10 or 12 points: win your home games and one away from home. We’ve lost the opportunity to get three points, but we’ve got two home games next and got to focus on those two,” Solskjaer said after the game.
