Jules Kounde transfer details revealed as he gets strong Chelsea warning

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that Chelsea are preparing an offer for Jules Kounde who has merged as a top target for the west Londoners last month.

Romano has previously tweeted that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Kounde but claimed a fee was not agreed upon with Sevilla for the France international.

Romano tweeted on July 27: “Jules Kounde deal update: Chelsea are in advanced talks with Sevilla and Kurt Zouma could be included in the negotiation.

“Possible swap deal to go through in the next hours / days with Zouma + money for Kounde to Chelsea. #CFC

“Personal terms agreed for Kounde until 2026.”

Meanwhile, former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has sounded a strong warning to Kounde, saying he must be sure of any move because he has a huge future ahead of him.

Leboeuf added that his French compatriot should be prepared to sit on the bench more than he is used to if he joins the Blues.

He told ESPN FC: “[Kounde’s] a fantastic player, yeah. He has everything. He’s a warrior, he never gives up, and he’s also very good with the ball.

“He’s got everything and he’s for sure [the] future. So it’s maybe an opportunity for Chelsea to get him for maybe not this season but the next season.

“I don’t know what Kounde wants to do in his life.

“If he’s ready to be on the bench more than he thinks he’s going to be, I don’t know, it’s up to him.

“But it’s a good signing for Chelsea if he comes to Stamford Bridge.

“[Andreas] Christensen had a fantastic Euros, did well, Thiago Silva is the [leader] of that team, you have [Cesar] Azpilicueta who does a job.

“So nobody deserves to be on the bench at the back of the Chelsea team.

“They’ve done fantastically last season so do you think it would be normal to put Thiago Silva on the bench? Or Christensen on the bench? I don’t think so.

“And I forgot [Antonio Rudiger]. You want to put Rudiger on the bench? Come on, it’s impossible, the guy had a fantastic season. We never thought he would come back to that level.

“So nobody deserves to be on the bench and it’s not because Kounde comes that he’s going to play.”

Chelsea player that is “a killer” revealed

Romelu Lukaku

Former prolific midfielder, Joe Cole, has revealed that in Romelu Lukaku, The blues now have a “killer” in their squad who will score more goal.

Romelu Lukaku scored the only goal as Chelsea began their Champions League campaign with a slim 1-0 victory over Zenit St Petersburg on Tuesday.

That was Romelu Lukaku fourth goal in four matches since returning to Stamford Bridge in a £98million deal from Inter Milan this summer.

Joe Cole has accepted the fact that Romelu Lukaku was not at his best against Zenit, but said his powerful nature makes him the perfect man to lead the team under Thomas Tuchel.

“I’m going to throw this out there, I think he’ll be top scorer in the Champions League this season.

“Lukaku didn’t even have one of his better games, he was a little bit scruffy but he’s a finisher now, a killer. Once that ball was delivered there was only going to be one winner, he’s a great finisher,” Cole said on BT Sport.

Legend ignores Man Utd, names six teams that can win champions league

Danny Murphy

Experienced legend, Danny Murphy has listed the six clubs he thinks can win the Champions League this season.

His list include title holders Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. However, Manchester United was not mentioned.

Danny Murphy predicts English clubs could be a dominant force in Europe this campaign, with Chelsea hoping to defend the title they won after beating Manchester City in last season’s champions league final.

For Liverpool, they reached successive Champions League finals in 2018 and 2019 and would be eager to challenge for another this seasonn.

Danny Murphy insists Manchester City are one of the favorites as with Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, PSG and Atletico Madrid.

Asked which teams he expects to challenge for the Champions League title, Murphy told MailSport:

“I personally think the winners will come from one of six – Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG.

“Atletico are an outsider because Diego Simeone has matchwinners in Luis Suarez and Griezmann in addition to the remarkable team spirit he’s fostered.”

Tammy Abraham ‘fits the bill’ as an Arsenal signing, says Winterburn

With Arsenal interested in the signature of Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham, they have been told by their hero, Nigel Winterburn that the England international fits the profile of a potential signing for the club.

Tammy Abraham looks set to leave Chelsea this summer as the Blues continue their pursuit of Erling Haaland. He is also out of favour at the club with lack of playing time. He earned 22 Premier League appearances last term, scoring six goals which is not enough for him.

Reacting to the news, Winterburn said (via Goal): “He certainly would fit the bill of recent Arsenal signings, young with a point to prove.

“People will question his consistency but what you want is for these young players to get a run in the team.

“Is he going to get a run in a team if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is playing well? Probably not unless Aubameyang can be switched to the left-hand side – although you then need to leave out either Nicolas Pepe or Bukayo Saka.

“With Abraham, there’s potential there and development for a young, young player. So, I think it’s an option [for] Arsenal, although with Alexandre Lacazette being linked with a move away, it could be just a name that has been thrown into a hat.”

He will replace French striker, Alexandre Lacazette who is also opened to leaving the Emirates Stadium for £15 million after scoring 17 goals in all competitions last season.

When asked about Lacazette, Winterburn continued: “Arsenal shouldn’t sell Lacazette unless they’ve got an upgrade in place. I wouldn’t let him go until we have secured another striker. I’ve said that all along.

“Lacazette is a different striker to anything Arsenal have at the club. When he’s in top form, he holds the ball up well, his link-up play is good.

“I suppose his strike rate is not the very, very best of what you want, but then we are not at the very, very top of the league either at the moment as well.

“So personally, at the moment, I don’t want to see him go, unless we’ve got someone coming in that’s going to excite me.

“I wouldn’t let him go and then we haven’t got anybody else to bring in. For me, that’s just way too risky.”

He’s been linked with a surprise move across London. Reports have suggested Arsenal are monitoring his situation and could make an offer if Chelsea decide to leave him leave.
