Published

Newly crowned UFC light heavyweight Jan Blachowicz champion has sent a warning shot to reigning UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya about making the step up to light heavyweight.

Blachowicz told Submission Radio that the Nigerian-born fighter has no business in the light heavyweight division (205-pound division).

He can’t believe that a lot of people think it’s easy to make the step up from 185 to 205 pounds.

Blachowicz (27-8 MMA, 10-5 UFC) believes that Adesanya (20-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) would have a hard time against him and others in the light heavyweight division

Israel Adesanya won’t be able to survive in the light heavyweight cadre and that he would suffer in a fight with him just like how he dealt with Rockhold.

37-year-old Blachowicz became the recipient of the vacant UFC light heavyweight title last month after he saw off Dominick Reyes in the second round of their fight at UFC 253.

Jan Blachowicz is not new to victories over decorated middleweights who are trying their luck in a weight division above. The Polish fighter holds wins over the likes of ‘Jacare’ Souza and former UFC champion Luke Rockhold.

According to him, the only way Israel Adesanya can have success at light heavyweight is by playing UFC on playstation.

There is never been this much inactivity in MMA, Andrade’s Onlyfans #ufc

Published

on

jessica andrade

Jessica Andrade has decided to show a different side of herself through OnlyFans, despite an unexpected surprise, shes happy with the response so far.

“Bate Estaca” joined OnlyFans a few months ago under the advice of her wife Fernanda Gomes to make extra money after moving full-time to Las Vegas, but nude photos of her have leaked and gone viral recently in Brazil.

“I wasn’t upset because I already imagined it could happen,” Andrade told MMA Fighting. “I’ve seen that happen to other fighters as well. … I wasn’t upset because I did all this knowing that it would leak eventually.

“I’m 30 and my body won’t look pretty for the rest of my life, so we have to enjoy it while it’s nice. No one will want to see it later. [Laughs.] Better use it now, then when it’s gone. But I wasn’t upset. I thought it was funny because people did a lot of memes.”

Andrade said that “life has taught me a lot,” especially after she announced to the world that she is a gay woman. Dealing with prejudice and backlash, the UFC star said, has prepared her to live life without paying too much attention to negative energy.

“If I had done [those photos] against my will, it would’ve been different,” Andrade said. “But I did that knowing it would probably happen. Not everyone is honest with you all the time. The photos were a package to one person but you don’t know this person’s heart and nature, and unfortunately that happened. But it was a learning experience. So we do photos now, but only to the right people and the right way.”

At least the unpleasant surprise was preceded by a nice check.

“I paid off my car and six or seven months of rent [in Las Vegas] in advance,” she said. “I haven’t even used the money of my last fight’s purse. I was able to pay my bills in Brazil, help my family and help Fernanda’s family with OnlyFans’ money.

“It’s nice when you check your account and see the money is still there. You’re like, ‘My God, I’m buying a lot of stuff on Amazon, my house is like a market right now, and the account remains the same. … Even though the photos have leaked, it was only four or five photos.”

Andrade says she hasn’t posted anything on OnlyFans for some time since she’s currently in camp for her flyweight bout with Cynthia Calvillo on Sept. 25, her first octagon appearance since challenging Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC title, but plans on resuming her posts after that.

Aside from the money she was paid for those leaked pictures, Andrade said she was able to pay off her house in Brazil and begin renovating her mother’s house through the platform.

“People think OnlyFans is just porn, but it’s not only that,” Andrade said. “It’s a platform to show your daily life, your fights, the things you do. I’m very happy with OnlyFans.“

BREAKING! Charles Oliveira TURNS DOWN Nate Diaz…..WHY?!

Published

on

“I can not defend him,” Charles Oliveira says turning down Diaz, he says in a quote “no interest homie”.

It is unbelievable, no one would have ever thought that Nate Diaz could be given this kind of opportunity. Nobody thought Nate would call out Charles Oliveira of all people when does a star of the sport call out someone that the ordinary fans barely know. Charles is going to be passed up they’re going to pit together the winner of Conor emporia versus the winner of Michael.

chandler and geisha, in fact, that gagey chandler fight is going to happen that’s just how it works man when you have so many stars in one division

These are the two fighters the UFC is most definitely going to put together and there is a mini-tournament going on.

Oliveira is the only one that’s discontinuing his participation while everyone else in that top five is moving forward and looking alive.

He sits there while everybody moves forward and he’s like where is the belt that is what’s going to happen in the future as well with everybody taking fights and him sitting out. He’s going to wonder why he got passed by why is pory fighting for the belt why is Conor fighting for the belt and why are they fighting chandler or geisha, I deserve a title shot.

They are all trying to secure that title shot because nobody’s fighting for the belt right now no but he is Habib still has it and beating Nate Diaz would have been perfect for Charles Oliveira

Nate Diaz is not a contender like these other guys are, he’s not one of the best fighters of the 155-pound division but the difference with fighting Diaz is that it gives you more exposure. It gives you a little bit more of that star power than chandler would or geishi would have.

it’s an easier fight as well it’s the easiest path to a title win for Charles Oliveira as he has the winning streak he has some names in that streak he has the skills all that stuff the only thing he doesn’t have is the star power.

He is the least known fighter of the top five if he had some exposure if he had some star power he’d already be in consideration to fight for the belt one hundred per cent.

he’d already been the guy and they will not pass him up. look at it like this, Tony Ferguson for a long time he had to go on a 10 win streak or so in order to actually be put up against the champion but now there are more fighters with bigger names than there were in the past.

it’s going to be even harder for ali vera to get that title shot if he keeps going with the way he’s going there’s a reason why they’re trying to pass them up with chandler because he is way more marketable he only has one win in the UFC against dan hooker.

one win over dan hooker and they’re ready to push him in front of Charles Oliveira and it’s only because of the mark ability, the way he fights fan-friendly style all that stuff he talks well he has the full package so chandler needs one more fight.

If the belt is not on the line Chandler is only fighting to keep his spot so why not have a little bit more on top of that why not fight for the star power for the exposure that he needs that’s the only thing he’s lacking, and that’s a huge opportunity lost for Charles Oliveira because this isn’t the meritocracy he thinks it is this isn’t “oh I beat the top contender now I get a total shot”, that’s not how it works anymore it hasn’t worked like that for the last six to seven years especially when the top of the division that you’re in has stars in it, stars that get special treatment from the UFC that’s just how it’s gonna be and that’s how it’s always has been

I respect the way he’s trying to go about things, but he’s only gonna get passed up. He turned down Michael chandler in the past his explanation was I want the belt same explanation he gave for the Nate Diaz rejection. This is different than what dana said that Charles didn’t want to fight Michael chandler because it was on short notice that’s not what Charles Oliveira said, he said I’m not gonna fight that guy because he doesn’t give me the belt that’s it but the thing is he’s not going to get that title shot right, now nobody is.

hopefully for him now they re-offer the chandler fight because that’s the only fight that will get him that title shot now watch how they are turning down Nate Diaz, turning down Michael chandler they’re gonna offer maybe another countertop contender maybe a dan hooker or something he’s gonna turn that down and watch them start offering guys like islam guys to build their name off of his because he’s not willing to fight the top contenders or as dana would say Charles just doesn’t want to fight I mean it tells you something that Dustin Poirier calls out Nate Diaz while Charles Oliveira turns down ads that shows you a difference in mentality there.

Dustin gets it Charles does not. I’m not trying to beat chill Sonnen over here and just bash this guy but I really think this was a big mistake from Charles.

BREAKING! Yoel Romero RELEASED from the UFC, Nick Diaz returning

Published

on

Yoel Romero mma ufc

We have some breaking news and it could be good news or bad news depending how you really look at it.

Yoel Romero has parted ways with the Ufc,  shockingly like out of nowhere, this was reported by Ariel Helwani.

Romero’s manager also confirmed that he’s no longer contracted and according to sources, Romero had three fights left on his deal, if you remember he was scheduled to fight Uriah Hall in August 22nd, but for some reason he pulled out of the fight.

We still don’t know exactly what happened, nothing has really been clarified as to whether he wanted to leave or
the organization wanted to release him, nobody really knows why this happened and what is going to happen but
according to his manager, he is already in talks with other promotions.

He said:

All the promoters definitely just woke out of bed and they’re all going to be fighting for him as soon as other promotions got word that yoel romero was out of the ufc. they are all going to throw money at him and yoel romero is probably going to be one of, if not the highest paid free agent mma fighters in history.

He also said:

Romero is competitive and can beat any of them, that is how crazy this situation is and i’m very happy for romero if this is what he wanted and the fact that he’s gonna get paid like crazy.

Romero versus hall would have been a big opportunity for hall but we probably know why Uriah fought Anderson Silva and is now put up against Chris Weidman, two guys that are much lower in rankings than Yoel Romero.

In other news, Ovince Saint Preux has missed weight for the first time in his professional MMA career, he missed weight by 1.5 pounds and that is a terrible sign coming into his fight, because if you get that close to the weight class it means it was a pretty bad weight cut and that is not good for his fight.

Tj Dillashaw slithered out of the grass to talk about what’s next for his future and he says that he deserves the next title shot at 135 pounds.

Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul is OFFICIAL (Is it good for the sport?)

Published

on

floyd mayweather vs logan paul

Floyd mayweather is going to be fighting logan paul on february 20th in 2021, it has been confirmed by floyd himself that this exhibition bout is going to happen on pay-per-view, although a lot of you are a bit skeptical that this would happen after what just happened with jake paul fighting nate robinson but now we’re having not only a professional boxer versus a youtuber,  We’re having the greatest boxer of all time versus a youtuber and this changes the game completely not only for boxing but for mma as well.

This can also be a bit worrisome even for mma fans if we’re having someone on floyd mayweather’s level taking these kind of fights, it means that we’re probably going see this as more of a norm,  there’s going to be more of these fights that are going to happen especially if floyd versus logan paul becomes successful on pay-per-view.

If the numbers come out and it proves to be what i think is one of the biggest pay-per-views of all time, we are definitely going to see guys like Canelo fight youtubers and other professional boxers will follow through and  even mma fighters might cross over into the ring to fight youtubers.

A lot of boxers are in the sport to make money,  they will jump to the deal if they see that floyd gets paid 200 – 300 million dollars fighting logan paul, which is essentially not even as challenging as a sparring match in his gym.

What is stopping other boxers doing the same, Canelo’s is going to be like –  “i could probably make 100 million from one of these guys or maybe 50 million”.

MMA fighters like conor mcgregor or jorge masvidal, and many guys can come into the sport of boxing and do the same sort of thing and not lose sweat nor risk getting hurt at all.

They do not need a training camp to handle one of these youtubers – now this is a good and bad thing for the professional fighters.

The good thing is easy money to fight a popular youtuber like one of the paul brothers, now the bad thing about all this is that it will hurt the credibility of the sport –  if boxers do it,  it’s going to hurt the sport of boxing and if mma fighters are going to do it, it’s going to hurt mma.

Although one fight is not going to do enough damage but if it keeps happening,  if it becomes a norm, people are not going to look at these sports the same way as usual, it’s not going to be serious sport where the actual professionals should be taken seriously and ultimately these youtuber fights are going to draw on a different kind of crowd.

A lot of people that will watch the fights are the people who watch guys like Logan Paul on youtube and not specifically the hardcore fans of the sport.

We just had jake paul versus nate robinson in a boxing match,  now we’re having the greatest box of all time fighting another youtuber and that is what i think is the thing that might hurt this more than anything else. We don’t know what the cost is going to be for this pay-per-view it might be 100,  it might be 60 or 50.

I am predicting that this pay-per-view is going be one of the biggest pay-per-views in boxing history, floyd holds many pay-per-view records in the sport of boxing and this is definitely going be one of the top.

It’s going to draw in another crowd that may shock a lot of people, how many people are going to be interested in this ?

There is an argument that these kind of fights can draw in more attention to the sport of boxing of which  i agree but not when you have someone as credible as floyd fighting someone like logan paul because everybody knows it’s  going to be a walk through for floyd.

Floyd does not need the fight to be fixed to do his work, he doesn’t have to train for the fight,  he’ll win this easily but everybody knows it’s a cash grab,  it’s an easy fight and it’s  not going to be competitive.

People aren’t going to be as interested in seeing a professional boxer fight a youtuber.

Previously, logan paul lost to ksi in a boxing match, imagine what a professional boxer would do to him. I know a lot of people who are not as knowledgeable in martial arts cannot really comprehend how much skill matters.

It doesn’t matter how big logan is, it doesn’t matter how powerful he is, it doesn’t really matter how fast he is, it doesn’t matter how athletic he is, it doesn’t matter how young he is – the skills of a professional boxer will always triumph over someone that just relies on size.

So my official prediction for the fight is that,  floyd mayweather will handle him pretty well, does whatever he wants to him, I don’t think he knocks him out in the first round although it is a huge possibility that can happen if floyd comes out right away and just tries to go for the knockout.

I don’t know what the rules are going to be for the exhibition fight, probably similar to mike tyson and roy jones fight but for a professional boxer versus a youtuber who have had like two amateur fights,  they’re going to  have some more restrictions so logan paul doesn’t get hurt.

Maybe headgear, maybe bigger gloves, maybe less rounds – there are a lot of things that might change compared to tyson vs roy jones which was between two legends of the same age.

I am predicting that floyd mayweather is going to win,  i have a feeling he might just carry it and not try to hurt logan paul that much.

If i was a youtuber, if you were a youtuber,  i guarantee we would all do the same thing so you can’t knock the youtubers for trying to do this.

What do you guys think about this flight, do you guys like this kind of fights happening occasionally or often?

Do these kind of fights hurt or help the sport?

Dana White and Tyrone Woodley hardly see eye to eye and it’s not surprising that the former has named the latter as the most difficult fighter he’s had to deal with.

During his reign as the UFC welterweight champion, Dana White accused Tyrone Woodley of holding up the division as he said that he doesn’t want to fight.

Dana White talked about Woodley in a chat with reporters as the UFC President and his officials prepare for UFC 254 in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

Tyrone ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley won the welterweight title in 2016 and he defended it three times before losing it to Nigerian-born fighter Kamaru Usman in March 2019.

The 38-year-old has since lost one-sided fights to the likes of Gilbert Burns and Colby Covington.

Dana White has talked about him retiring from UFC, but Woodley is not ready to call it quit.
