Donny van de Beek now knows what Solskjaer thinks of his UnIted future

Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has dismissed the suggestions that Donny van de Beek should leave the club as he insists that the player will be at Old Trafford nest season.

The Dutchman joined the Red Devils in a £35million deal from Ajax last summer but made just four Premier League starts, despite his potentials. This has forced talks of moves away from the club and Real Madrid are believed to be interested in landing him.

It is understood that Real Madrid have submitted a loan proposal to sign the Dutchman, which would include an obligation to buy in 2022 for a fee of around £30m.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not okay with that and wants to keep the midfielder for another season

“‘You’ve not experienced Manchester United until you’ve scored in front of the Stretford End,” said Solskjaer.

“Of course, Edi scored in front of some of them, and they’ve both scored in that end, but now, when it’s a full stadium, it will be different for the two of them.

“Manchester United with and without fans are two different things. To be reunited with them will be top.’

Meanwhile, Dutch journalist Süleyman Öztürk has stated that Donny van de Beek is being “fooled” by Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, insisting that the player should leave.

“You cannot ignore the fact that Van de Beek has ended up in an awful situation,” said Öztürk (via Sport Witness).

“He’ll never reach the numbers or the status of Bruno Fernandes when asked to act like a player in the absence of Bruno Fernandes resembling Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese takes the game to him, while Van de Beek moves away from the ball.

“The Norwegian tries to keep him sharp and motivated by saying that he must be patient. Manchester United emphatically don’t want to let Van de Beek go, Edwin van der Sar recently claimed at Ziggo that Van de Beek’s time is yet to come. The reality is that his competitor turns out to be so dominant that Solskjaer cannot draw Van de Beek up.”

He added: “He hasn’t been brought in on his characteristics as a footballer. And if he is, he’s currently being fooled by his coach. My advice: try to get away as soon as possible. If you don’t want to be kept on a leash for too long.”

Legend ignores Man Utd, names six teams that can win champions league

Danny Murphy

Experienced legend, Danny Murphy has listed the six clubs he thinks can win the Champions League this season.

His list include title holders Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. However, Manchester United was not mentioned.

Danny Murphy predicts English clubs could be a dominant force in Europe this campaign, with Chelsea hoping to defend the title they won after beating Manchester City in last season’s champions league final.

For Liverpool, they reached successive Champions League finals in 2018 and 2019 and would be eager to challenge for another this seasonn.

Danny Murphy insists Manchester City are one of the favorites as with Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, PSG and Atletico Madrid.

Asked which teams he expects to challenge for the Champions League title, Murphy told MailSport:

“I personally think the winners will come from one of six – Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG.

“Atletico are an outsider because Diego Simeone has matchwinners in Luis Suarez and Griezmann in addition to the remarkable team spirit he’s fostered.”

Why Man Utd may not win trophy

Rio Ferdinand, has said the Manchester United inexperience could stop themfrom winning the Champions League this season.

Man United manager has brought in Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane this summer, as he seeks to win his first title at Old Trafford.

However, the team have not won any silverware since the Europa League final in 2017.

Their rivals, Liverpool and Chelsea have won both the Premier League and Champions League while Manchester City have won last season’s fina, their third league title in four years under experienced coach Pep Guardiola.

“I think Man United’s not a problem, but where they’re behind the other three English teams, is the experience of winning things.

“All the other three English teams have won things, whether it be the Champions League or the Premier League. Man United have yet to do that as this group.

“That’s where they are lacking, and that’s where they’ve got to play catch up and they’ve got to do that this season. The transfer window for them has been impeccable, but that’s got to translate into trophies,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.

What Solskjaer said about Man Utd 2-1 defeat to Young Boys

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has lambasted his side following a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys on yesterday.

Manchester United began their Champions League campaign with a shock loss to Young Boys.

The Red Devil took the lead when Cristiano Ronaldo scored his third goal since he returned to Old Trafford.

Later on, the game turned around after Aaron Wan-Bissaka received a straight red card for his challenge on Christopher Martins.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has lay blames on his team following a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys on Tuesday.

The Switzerland side eventually drew level, thanks to Moumi Ngameleu’s strike.

The match should have been a draw but Lingard tried to find David de Gea but his pass found Theoson Siebatcheu.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seriously warned his squad that they must learn from their mistakes if they are to avoid an early exit from the championship competition.

“A lack of concentration, you make a mistake and you get done. We did that last year, conceding two sloppy counter-attacks against Basaksehir and lost that game in the last seconds today.

“So we know we’ve given ourselves a more difficult task. We did last year when everyone thought we were through after two games.

“You need 10 or 12 points: win your home games and one away from home. We’ve lost the opportunity to get three points, but we’ve got two home games next and got to focus on those two,” Solskjaer said after the game.
